Our reception looked like an absolute dream, we were both blown away. It was perfect and better than anything we had envisioned.

We loved the small little details, and were surprised with the personalised bar and chairs for the bridal party. Everything was beautiful, we had so many compliments from our friends and family. We both knew from our first meeting that Upside Down Events was a fantastic choice for us, Lilac's bubbly personality and personable manner made us feel so at ease. Every time we met up it felt like we were catching up with a friend. Lilac thought of everything and always made sure we were on track. The Upside Down team did an excellent job, everyone was super friendly. We could not have been happier with the overall service provided. Now we just need to have more parties so we can hire Upside Down events again!

My wife and I have recently enlisted the help of Upside Down Events to help us with the styling of our wedding. We were met with an incredibly talented event planner Lilac, whom also happened to be extremely fun to work with! The whole planning and discussion stage was often met with ease and laughter. With an eye for detail on our preferences through discussion, she has put together a professional, yet modern, simple to understand and dynamic bespoke vision board. (Trust me, even just the vision board is worth it). Thanks Lilac, the ceremony and reception looked absolutely amazing! We were met with so many compliments, couldn't have done this without you!

Lilac was absolutely instrumental in bringing our "celestial" themed wedding to life. The decorations and styling for our wedding ceremony and reception were on point, refreshing and bespoke to us; it really made the day special. We received so many comments from guests who loved the theme!

Knowing that Lilac was looking after all the styling really made our wedding planning process so much smoother. She liaised with our venue and various vendors on behalf of us. 

Our wedding would not have been as beautiful as it was without Lilac. My only regret is that I didn't hire her for planning services too!

Our wedding was epic! Lilac made it so amazing that we want to do it every year! A few days after the event, my wife and I had a moment when we were literally considering doing it all over again, because it was so much fun! All of our friends had a blast and kept posting photos saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. A destination wedding is never easy as you can imagine, and our theme of rock climbing and acroyoga involved lots of things to consider and double check.

Throughout the process, Lilac always went above and beyond our expectations. She was very responsive and enthusiastic about every idea we had in order to make it all come true, and it turned out even better than we expected! Her creativity and planning simply made this event a huge surprise for us and our guests. She did a great job maximizing our budget and painting a clear picture of what we would get. Thank you Lilac! You knocked it out of the park.

Awesome to have the team help me in my engagement with my oh so beautiful wife to be. I couldn't have asked for more. Lilac was patient and definitely hit the nail on the head when it came to decorations and what i actually wanted. I just wanna give a big shout out to Anna as well for helping us.

Lilac was the best decision we invested in for our wedding day! From our first meeting, I knew she was the right person to keep things on track for our big day. Her knowledge, flexibility and experience meant nothing was left to chance. Lilac has many quality vendors she works with so when our furniture plan fell though (a couple of months out), all I had to do was ask for a few recommendations and it was sorted. She created the run sheet with us, cross checked things we hadn’t thought of, ensured we didn’t receive any last-minute calls on the day and even made sure everything was packed up at the end of the night for the right family members so we could avoid additional bump out fees. She coordinated all the vendors (hands on too) and knew our expectations, we had full confidence in her to manage anything that came up, including installing our custom neon sign at the last minute.
We breezed through the day and never had to think about anything except our overflowing emotions with loved ones. Thank you Lilac for ‘taking care of the rest’ with a big smile on your face, authenticity and professionalism. You were everything we hoped for and you definitely went above and beyond for us. It was a lovely surprise when we received a short video of our day while we were on our honeymoon too. We HIGHLY recommend Lilac!

To hand over your special day isn't easy. To find someone who can understand your needs and be able to do the job as good as you would, I mean like they say if you want something done right, do it yourself. Well Upside Down Events certainly handled it like it was their own wedding! 

They took care of every little detail. We had meetings and they covered every aspect and even reminded us on things that had slipped our mind. Most importantly, on the day we just had to be there and enjoy! We knew what we would like for decoration, and wanted to keep the wedding small and intimate. Lilac made sure everything was simple and understated as we didn't want a lavish wedding. But just enough to make the day special. It complimented us so well. We couldn't have imagined having our big day in any other way! It was handled flawlessly! Thanks so much for making a memorable day for us!
